What is BUCS?
BUCS stands for British Universities and Colleges Sport - it is the national governing body for higher education sport.
The BUCS vision is "to enhance the student experience through sport".
It delivers leagues, competitions and events for inter university sports to over 150 institutions.
Over 4500 teams compete across 50 different sports.
Badminton is one of the largest indoor sports in the BUCS team programme.
Leagues typically consist of 6 teams and matches are played both home and away.
Matches consist of both singles and level doubles.
Matches take place on Wednesday afternoons, which is the university's dedicated sport time.
