What is IMS?

The University of Nottingham boasts one of the largest programme of intra-mural sport in the country.

IMS is the a perfect way to socialise, have fun and play competitively against people of the same ability.

IMS Badminton League

The badminton club organises an IMS badminton league.

Anyone can join the league, as long as you are a member of the badminton club and also have a  sports centre membership. Check out the memberships page.

Once you are registered you will be allocated a league and a list of matches to play. The fixtures are flexible and are organised between you and your opponent - book a court in your own time or make use of the social club sessions to play your matches.

It is a great opportunity to play in friendly matches whilst meeting new people.

The club will also be organising several one-day tournaments throughout the year.

There is also the opportunity to represent the university in an IMS varsity match against Loughborough University at the end of the year.

If you are interested in playing in the league or have any questions regarding IMS badminton please contact Pascal Wye, the IMS officer for the club. Contact details can be found here.
